Principal and Senior Designer Manhattan Showroom 212-242-2014 gregory@showcaseny.com
Gregory believes that "getting back to basics" has helped him become a better designer. He has completed more than 300 stunning kitchen and bath design projects for clients in the New York City area. But before launching his successful design career a decade ago, he worked as a skilled professional in a variety of fields, including picture framing, stone cutting, cabinet making, museum carpentry, metal fabrication, as well as plaster molding restoration. And he earned a BA in fine arts. This background in visual arts, coupled with practical construction and fabrication experience, gives him an unusually diversified foundation for design.
Testimonials: "I believe that in order to truly appreciate the finished product, you need to get your hands dirty and learn the basics first," says Gregory. "The broad knowledge I have acquired enables me to visualize the entire project from every conceivable angle." His extensive travels to more than 16 countries and exposure to different cultures plays an important role in his ability to understand and communicate others’ thoughts and ideas — the hallmark of a first-rate design professional. "For me, the most rewarding aspect of my job is having the opportunity to solve complex problems and deliver the finished project to my client on budget and on time."
